Meissen, Two figures from Malabar, circa 1860, both wearing straw hats and purple cloaks with fur lining, the male figure carries a bow and arrows on his back, to one side a short sword, his right hand leaning on a shield, the female figure carries a basket of fruit in her right hand and a basket with lid in her left hand, blue sword mark, male figure impressed number 823, and 98,, model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein circa 1745-1750 female figure with impressed mark 164 and 101, 37cm and 35cm high, (2) Literature: Rainer R�ckert, Meissener Porzellan, p. 210, nos 984, 985, executed for Heinrich Count Br�hl, 1700-1763, minister of August III;

Pair of Sitzendorf porcelain figures, of a gentleman reclining on a stump cutting some roses, the lady also seated with a bouget of flowers and a single rose in the opposing hand, the underside of the bases with a crown above S and numbered 26 and 32, 13cm high, (2)
