R.N.) records show Able Seaman Thomas Osborne, born 21st February 1887 at St George in the East, London, enlisted in the Royal Navy on 21st February 1905, some of H.M. Ships served on include Impregnable, Lion, Agincourt, Juno, Irresistible, and HMS Ranger, a torpedo boat destroyer, he is shown as being entitled to the 1914-15 Star, 1914-1918 British War Medal, and Victory Medal

BRIG.) records show Private Herbert Snutch of the 12th Battalion Rifle Brigade Killed in Action and entitled to the 1914-15 Star, BWM and Victory Medal, he died on the 25th September 1915 aged 19 and is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial
