Bishop & Miller, the international auction house based in Suffolk, is holding its specialist Coins, Cigarette Cards, Stamps Postcards Auction on Friday 26th April 2019 from 10am at its Stowmarket Salerooms. The Auction’s online catalogue can be viewed here.
This specialist Auction is full of collectible pieces and highly sought-after items such as Lot 7, an Edward III gold Noble (1327-77), fourth coinage, dating from the pre-treaty period, 1351-61.
Oliver Miller, managing director of Bishop & Miller, says: “English Nobles gold coins minted during the era of Kind Edward III are historically important, attractive, intricately designed and we expect this special lot to achieve in excess of £2,000.”
Another top lot to look out for in Bishop & Miller’s Coins, Cigarette Cards, Stamps Postcards Auction includes Lot 564, The Royal Mint Queens Diamond Jubilee UK Gold Five Ounce Coin, which is cased and in good condition andis set to fetch in the region of £5,000 on auction day.
