Sickboy | Fair Warning

We are delighted to announce our new contemporary gallery at our Glandford site in Norfolk.

Developed in collaboration with Allen Hall Gallery, our new space will present a year-round programme of exhibitions, installations and artist-led projects and events. Launched this June, by Sickboy’s exhibition Fair Warning.

Sickboy transformed our building into a large-scale immersive installation. The exhibition brings together new paintings, sculpture and site-specific interventions created in response to objects drawn from our auction house’s collection of antiques and artefacts.

Rather than presenting these historical objects as static relics, Sickboy reimagines them through his distinctive visual language — using colour, symbolism and transformation to explore how creativity emerges during periods of uncertainty and change.

Fair Warning blurs the boundaries between exhibition, archive and sale room. Furniture, decorative objects and fragments of material culture become part of an evolving contemporary landscape where meanings shift and familiar forms take on new resonance.

At its heart, the exhibition carries a strong sense of optimism, reflecting on the ways art, design and human creativity continue to respond to challenging times with invention, humour and imagination. This will be Sickboy’s first major solo exhibition in North Norfolk and marks the beginning of an exciting new collaboration.

The exhibition will be open daily between 11am and 4pm from Friday 19 June to Sunday 5 July 2026.
