I am confident these beautiful and historical pieces of jewellery will gain the attention they deserve on auction day.
Oliver continues: “Suffragette jewellery is believed to have been manufactured to signify support for the cause through the use of relevant colours – green, white and violet. Purple represented dignity, white purity and green, hope. A popular myth that I quite like as well is that colours green, white and violet to spell GWV as an acronym for “Give Women Votes.”
