Oliver Miller, Managing Director of Bishop & Miller, said: “We are delighted to hold this event at beautiful Stody Lodge Gardens. We encourage anyone curious for a valuation to bring portable items to one of our experts. Our team of specialists can advise across a vast array of subjects including silverware, jewellery, clocks, watches, paintings including East Anglian art, Asian and Oriental art, coins, medals, ceramics, textiles and small pieces of furniture. We cannot wait to see what treasures we discover.”
Kate MacNicol, owner of Stody Lodge Gardens, said: “We are very excited to hold our own ‘Antiques Roadshow’ style event at Stody. There has always been a good cross over between antique lovers and garden enthusiasts – both groups appreciate aesthetic beauty, traditional crafts and the finer things in life – not least a good cup of tea and delicious cake! On Sunday 26th, all proceeds from the tea rooms will be in aid of the wonderful Priscilla Bacon Hospice – a charity that provides palliative care services in Norfolk.”
Visitors to the gardens on Sunday 26th May will be able to enjoy the 200 varieties of rhododendrons and sweetly scented azaleas but, and if they wish, are invited to bring small, portable items for expert appraisal. For more information please contact our team directly.
