John is a highly experienced cataloguer and valuer with an extensive knowledge of timepieces, mechanical, scientific and maritime objects, as well as a particular reputation for his expertise in the quirky and fun items such as toys, games & collectables.

Having started his career at 20, John honed his skills working at respectable auction houses such as Bonhams before eventually joining Bishop & Miller in 2020. He relishes the opportunity to learn something new, uncovering the history behind the objects that come through our doors.

An accomplished valuer, John is often found working closely with our clients, helping them to research their items, bring them to auction and achieve excellent hammer prices for their consignments.
